Imagine Caring for More than 200 Children During the Covid 19 Shutdown!
One group is doing just that and proving they can handle the challenge!
The pandemic is not fettering SJRC Texas’s mission of offering healing and hope to children and families affected by abuse, abandonment or neglect!
Just like many parents are adjusting to working at home while caring for their children, so is the staff at the non-profit formerly known as St Jude’s Ranch for Children. They remain dedicated to enriching the lives of foster children in the Greater San Antonio area no matter the restrictions and concerns. Through these unsettling times, they remain steadfast: embodying their vision of empowering those under their care to grow up to be happy, productive and caring adults. But, they could use some help! I learned more about that during a virtual interview with SJRC Texas Chief Development Officer Cynthia Lopez.
